In the second quarter of 2025, the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Brazil showed varied performance. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated distinct trends in downloads and active users.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent download pattern with a peak of approximately 271K downloads in early June. The app maintained a high level of engagement, with weekly active users fluctuating slightly but remaining around the 19M mark.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a notable increase in downloads during early May, reaching about 94K. Active users saw a similar trend, peaking at over 3.8M mid-quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares exhibited a decline in downloads toward the end of the quarter, with numbers dropping to around 70K. However, active users showed resilience, maintaining around 2M throughout the period.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus downloads peaked at approximately 78K in mid-April, with active user numbers reaching over 2.1M during the same period, before stabilizing around 1.7M.
